I hope you are all doing well. I have just returned from a conference on teaching American History and now want to put into motion some of the things I learned at Summercore. To start I have decided I need a webcam with a built in mic so that I can use skype and voice thread. Does anyone have any advice on a particular one or price range for a PC laptop or desktop for that matter?

I am looking to make my classroom as paperless as possible and this is the ultimate spring board. For starters I would like to have blogging become a regular part of my Language Arts program. Although the sky is the limit, I specifically first though about using it for our author study unit on Patricia Polacco, and for my poetry unit. A big concern right now of mine is the speed of my childrens typing. More to come.
